The Next Sex And The City Movie Will Be All About... Samantha!

RUMOR is that Kim Cattrall's character is set to STAR in the next Sex and the City movie after approaching producers with the idea that Samantha should take the lead! (YAHOOOOO) I'm getting giddy just writing about this. Samantha's back! We learned that towards the end of the movie. The options are limitless.

If this is true, then Carrie and Big will be pushed off to the side probably living out a happy life in marital bliss while Samantha makes an attempt to get back on track. One co-star isn't rumored to be too happy with the decision... Sarah Jessica Parker.

"Sarah threatened to boycott the sequel if Warner Brothers agreed to Kim's plan. Sarah said she'd withdraw her producer credit and put pressure on Cynthia Nixon and Kirstin Davis to not participate."

If Sarah really doesn't want this to happen... odds are it won't.

"Sarah is in the driver's seat as far as having final say on the sequel and the storylines."

Only time will tell... or a rep confirmation. But I'm banking on time.

Miranda's character will figure out that she is a lesbian in the next movie. Cynthia Nixon is gay in real life so it's all very art imitating life isn't it?

Macy’s upcoming 150th Anniversary

Singer Christina Aguilera played dress-up (in a dazzling full squirt à la Barbie for a photoshoot in celebration of Macy’s upcoming 150th Anniversary this October. (She looks haut!)

The dress in the ad, which will be featured at Macy’s stores nationwide, is a tribute to Macy’s Flower Shows. They debuted in 1946.

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were all about the romance while spotted enjoying their evening out in Los Angeles over the weekend. La Lopez (AKA LA Diva) was dazzling with joy in a gold silk halter dress and gold platform sandals, while her hubby was seen rocking an all black getup.

The couple spent their evening at Eva Longoria’s Beso Restaurant and were chillin’ until 3 a.m. Now that Madre’s is closed, J.LO can sit back and reminisce in other celebrity restaurants.

Well, at least until her competitive ass opens up a Madre’s part deux!

Yesterday was lovely diva Jennifer Lopez's 39th birthday! She spent her evening with husband Marc Anthony, the incredible shrinking man. The couple went to dinner at the Bowery Hotel, and also went to see In The Heights.

I don't think Jennifer looks her age at all, but I have to wonder if she is one of those women who will turn "39" every year for the rest of her life. I'm guessing that taking care of her children might run her looks down over the next couple years, you know, since she's doing it all herself and all.

She looks amazing so soon after their birth!

Whether or not she's still a raging diva, she does manage to look summery sweet in this flowery white and red frock she's sporting, along with some high-voltage red lipstick. She and designer Oscar de la Renta get all chummy, while she plays cover girl.

Russell Simmons and his young tenderoni Porschla Coleman are no longer a couple:

Russell Simmons and Porschla Coleman will always have yoga, but they may not always have each other. In between deep breaths and green vegetable smoothies, the couple, who had been dating since last year, found time to frequent beaches and then move in together, but it’s time for Russell to Do Him! According to sources, Simmons recently called it splitsville, with a send off note in his Huffington Post blog that ran last Thursday. In his note, he congratulated Porschla for her recent certification in Jivamukti Yoga and gave her what reads like a glowing review before closing with “thank you for the inspiration.” The only thing left for him to say may have been, God Bless and Good Night!

Aww too bad. Maybe Russ will find someone his age this time. SMH.

Jennifer Lopez Bathing in Italy!!!

The new mom showed off her post-baby bod in a bikini recently during a vacation on board a luxury boat in Italy. Jennifer hung out with her tiny but assertive hubby Marc Anthony as well as fashion designer Stefano Gabbana.

The famously athletic former Fly Girl revealed that she is clearly well on her way toward whittling herself down back to fighting form using an exercise program with trainer Gunnar Peterson.

Granted, she's not turning into some kind of skinny minny, but dang. You can actually see abdominal muscles. You just know she's in the backyard working out with her trainer, catching boulders whilst doing lunges and Marc just sort of looks on. You know his skinny ass can't keep up.

D List Singer Sighting

Mya was spotted on the beach while on holiday in Barbados over the weekend. The singer was to host an event down there, but according to a tipster she was a NO SHOW!

Mya was supposed to host a show at a club here in Barbados last night (Saturday, July 5th) - Club NXS and was a total no-show! This is after the Barbados Tourism Authority PAID for her to come down first class and put her up at the Barbados Hilton - using TAXPAYERS’ money, you know! Naturally, people are pissed. It’s one thing to get dissed by a celeb - it’s a whole other thing to get dissed by a past-her prime celeb like Mya. If this is true, she knows she was wrong for hitting up the beach and not getting work done first. She looks fit and I like that bikini!

MADONNA DENIES AN AFFAIR WITH A-ROD!

Madonna firmly denies the rocky state of her marriage as well as allegations of her dipping into the Sabor Latino of A-Rod.
“My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. A-ROD'S WIFE'S STORY...

Alex Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia Rodriguez — who has been staying at Lenny Kravitz’s home in Paris, France, since Tuesday — has “strong suspicions” about Madonna and her estranged husband’s “friendship” with the singer.

“She doesn’t believe they are just friends,” says an insider quoted by Us Weekly.

“Something deeply suspicious is happening here. Cynthia did indeed leave [New York City] because she is convinced this is all true.”

Cynthia Rodriguez, 34, and Alex Rodriguez, 32, have split up after “three months of problems,” the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

She stood by him last year amid his infidelity with manly stripper Joslyn Morse. But the final straw in their relationship was apparently Madonna.

Specifically, that A-Rod was making late night visits to Madonna’s pad - including right after C-Rod gave birth to their second child.

Thursday, a source said: “[Alex Rodriguez] literally left 10 minutes after the baby was born (this April), and was at Madonna’s. It’s true. It’s crazy.”

Whether or not they are having affairs, Cynthia is definitely out of the U.S. She was spotted outside of Lenny Kravitz’s Paris home on Tuesday.

Kravitz today denied any role in A-Rod’s marriage drama, but admitted that Cynthia came to stay with him to get away from everything in N.Y.

What should we say about this story y’all? It keeps getting bigger and messier and I am not sure what is true or not. A lot of ” sources” now say that A-Rod has been seen leaving an apartment that belongs to Madge in New York

And apparently Alex Rodriguez had a love shack all his own that Cynthia had no idea about. Many sources have also seen Madonna leaving a NYC apartment which definitely does NOT belong to her manager Guy Oseary who lives in L.A. and NOT NYC! The apartment he rented is also six blocks from Madonna’s!!!

A doorman has also said he has seen Madonna go in and out of the apartment. Dag, things aren’t looking very good are they? LOL

HBO EN MEXICO!!!

For once, we get a quality t.v. show with superb acting with Mexican actors...it’s impresionante. Don’t expect fluffy telenovelas here, it’s nitty gritty and very real. Expect this to come to HBO in the U.S. soon…

DARK KNIGHT!

The Dark Knight follows the action hit Batman Begins teaming up director Christopher Nolan with Christian Bale once more.

Starring Christian Bale, as Batman and the now deceased actor, Heath Ledger as the Joker, The Dark Knight tells the tale of Batman in his fight against his nemesis. Aided by Lieutenant Jim Gordon, Gary Oldman, and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Aaron Eckhart, Batman must battle against the chaos in Gotham City.

Maggie Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko), Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules) and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) also appear in The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight is set to hit theatres on Friday, July 18.

CITY OF MEN MOVIE TRAILER

Just in case you are fan of ‘CITY OF GOD’ and haven’t viewed the ‘CITY OF MEN’ series, here is an FYI.. The characters and the story have zero to do with the movie City of God. City of God took place in the 1970s and City of Men takes place today. Although many of the actors were featured in the City of God movie, the storylines have nothing to do with each other. I’d recommend that you watch the TV show, which is available on DVD, before watching the movie. I’m a big fan of both movies and the ‘CITY OF MEN’ series and highly recommend everyone picking up all three of them for your DVD collection.
