IMMIGRATION POLITICS HITS THE RUNWAYS!

Immigration politics are taking a front-row seat in the world of fashion. If you thought that vanity only belongs on the catwalk, think again.

Apparently it also lives within ballot boxes. Just ask Rep. Anthony Weiner, who recently introduced a bill in Congress to make it easier for foreign models to get visas to work in the U.S...aqui!

Weiner comments to The Daily News,

“From Fashion Week to our vibrant publishing industry to the many designers that call New York City home, fashion is a vital part of our economy that drives thousands of jobs.”

Weiner’s political game has rubbed some fashionistas the wrong way, and has caused a heated debate between American-born beauties and immigrant fashion models.

Ex-supermodel, Janice Dickinson states,

“Forget trying to bring in new meat. Let’s divvy it up between the Americans on American soil, please.”

Immigration politics symbolizes a deep wound that crosses national borders. Sadly, it is constantly being bandaged by empty politics masked as progressive reform. To make matters worse, it has now grown into a debate between American models vs. immigrant models.

Step up and face facts…this is an issue bigger than Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, and Camila Alves‘ paychecks combined.

Represent tu ideas and discuss.
