Were you one of the women (or men) who rushed out to see Sex and the City this weekend? I was. If you were, too, you helped make this film number one at the box office- ousting summer blockbuster Indiana Jones. That’s quite an accomplishment for a “chick flick” starring four actresses over 40! While the movie was no great masterpiece, it did have its entertaining moments. And the shoes, clothes and accessories….sigh! Seriously, though, the fact that it starred ‘women of a certain age,’ who are not exactly inundated with movie offers by Hollywood, made me want to support it with my dollars. Looks like I wasn’t alone. HEHE!
